So, on the Doomworld forums, I came across a custom map made for Hedon. It's surprsingly neat actually:

Does anyone know a way to make steam run the mod directly? I tried making a .bat file to run the wad with hedon.exe like this:

--
hedon.exe BelowTheGaudyGoblin.wad
exit
--

Can I change the launcher in steam to direct it to the .bat file instead?

Edit: I figured it out, go to hedon in steam, select Properties, General Tab, Launch Options and type "Run BelowTheGaudyGoblin.wad"

Why is this something you want to be able to do out of interest?

So I don't have to drag and drop the wad file on the hedon.exe file every time I want to launch it.

Hmm Ok. I should probably warn you that it will affect the main game. There are some sprite replacements, and changes to the Hellclaw weapon.

got an error 'terminated reunaway script 27' when encountering the psi demon, after this I'm stuck in his dimension, loading previous save doesn't help

Bring it up in the Doomworld thread, I doubt the mod author reads this forum

Finally got around to beating this map. Still haven't explored it all, but it's amazing and fits the style, charm and detail of the rest of Hedon, aside from having way more comedy. Hope Doomax is at least slightly involved in a potential new episode/sequel or continues making these.

edit: lol Half the secrets are inside one secret. I may have explored more than I had thought.
