Hedon Bloodrite

Updating GZDoom
Ive always had this weird audio issue with version 3.4.1(Which was fixed in later updates) , so I just manually replaced it for 4.1.3 and everything is running great.

I dont really know that much about GZDoom , but my question is , are there any features that are dependent on the game running on 3.4.1? Thanks :candyman:

Ahh, yeah, the eternal engine version debate. Well, I do want to get to 4.1.3 but not right now. One of the reasons is that it doesn't have a vintage version, so it's going to hurt low end users.
For the upcoming update I want to move to 3.7.2 and eventually I'll ease into 4.1.3 (episode 2 update will switch to whatever current version GZDoom will have at the time hopefully).
But that's only because 3.4.1 is starting to have issues with current end users, which will obviously be prioritized in the future.

That actually explains why my old 3.4.1 install from my ancient laptop would run so poorly on my current PC. Im actually using 3.7.2 for Guncaster atm and its running great. So I shouldnt have any issues with 4.1.3?

F*cking amazing work on the game btw :8bitheart:

4.1.3 has a few other things I am waiting to be improved on. Let's just say that 3.7.2 would be a safer bet for the time being. And thanks, working hard on the next update, can't wait to release it!

Ok so I tried 3.7 2 and it seems like the reverbs are messed up.
Sounds like I'll be moving to 4.1.3 then.
