Hedon Bloodrite

Hedon Bloodrite

Some missing pieces.
I was enjoying my romp through the game when I got stuck in a doorway. Pressing E played the sound prompt for a door opening and I realized many of the doors in the game were not showing up on my screen. It's the same problem with the tables, this just leaving the mugs on them floating in the air. Any fix for this?

Hmmm, very strange. Try the following.
Download GZDoom 4 from here (get the latest version) - https://zdoom.org/downloads
Copy your Hedon folder from where Steam installed it somewhere else as backup. Then move the downloaded GZDoom archive in the installation folder and unzip it there, (say yes to replace all the files). Then launch the game via gzdoom.exe (not the Hedon launcher). Make yourself a desktop shortcut or Steam won't pick the right .exe to launch via the app.

Sounds like polyobjects and 3D models aren't rendered, do you have OpenGL enabled? What is your GPU?

Ok it does support OpenGL 4.0, what's your OS/what version of the game did you download? Windows 64-bit?

BTW I suggest you refund it until we see if this can be sorted out, you could try using the freeware version to test this out - https://zanthebonebreaker.itch.io/hedon

Also one more thing, how are you launching the game? You must run it from the .exe directly, not with drag and drop as if it were a mod, because that will cause issues such as 3D models not showing.

Ok then try what I suggested above, using GZDoom 4

In what way? Glitchy textures and black textures? Are your GPU drivers up to date btw?
Also, do you have any sort of graphic features enabled from your GPU that might interfere with OpenGL?

Crosshair can be adjusted from Options - HUD Options - Scale Crosshair. Not sure about weapons, though, can you show a screenshot please?

No problem. I will update the game to GZDoom 4 in the future, but this will sadly bring a whole slew of new issues. Anyway, will be a while until then, good thing it works now, let me know if you encounter any bug, it would be very useful to know for the future.
