Action Arcade Wrestling

Action Arcade Wrestling

I am thinking of getting CHIKARA just some questins
First off i am well known in Fire Pro workshop, and have seen comments saying this game is better or similar to Fire Pro is that true?

How many wrestlers can we have?

Is there a way to make custom shirts for wrestlers example "Tommy Dreamer ECFW shirt" "The Sandman's shirt" "Bill WIles Early ECW Shirt" etc.

How many attires can each wrestler have? In fire pro it's 4 attires, per creation, is it similar or is it 1 attire?

Custom BGM?

Hardcore styled matches? like weapon matches?

I may have more in the future for now they are my main ones, cheers :lunar2019coolpig:

I know you from Fire Pro lol. I don't know all the details because right now I'm deciding if I should buy or not. From my understanding it does not have the Fire Pro AI, there is no CPU logic. This is a arcade style game not a simulator, so Wrestlers fight more like they in a super hero movie and not like a real Wrestling match, so if you looking for a sim this isn't it. Now when it comes to the create a wrestler stuff you can put texture skins on your creation which means you can put almost anyone inside the game if you good at that kind of thing. You can also reskin belts and rings. It has a free app on steam that allows you to mess with the creator. It's weird because you have to make a sign in account to make Wrestlers for your game, I don't like that.

This game is not fire pro but I'm not looking for another fire pro, I have fire pro and I love it. This game looks like it's meant for over the top fun. If you make your fav wrestler there is a good chance you wont have all their move sets and you can't program it to think and wrestler like real wrestlers.

The other stuff you asked about, I have no idea.

Yeah some of the stuff looks really cool. I saw Goku fighting lol.... I'm still on the fence right now. I'm tempted to get it now, but I have a back log of games I wanted to catch on, like the Stardom DLC for Fire Pro.

Hi!
I'm one of the devs. Also BIG fan of Fire Pro - back to the Super Fam days.
We're definitely not Fire Pro. We're a little throwback arcade game. Fast, 2-button controls, etc.

To answer your questions... You can have as many wrestlers as you want - up ti filling your hard drive. With that said, custom attires are just different wrestlers.

No Custom BGM yet

Definitely have weapons.

Might I suggest trying out our Create-a-Wrestler / Create-an-Arena tool. It's a separate application and it's completely free. And yes, you can basically texture all wrestler parts and accessories.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1137700/CHIKARA_AAW_Wrestle_Factory

Then if you like, maybe you can check out our game.
Thanks!

Going to try to answer each thing you asked.

This game isn't Fire Pro, but it's not trying to be. In Chikara AAW each wrestler only has one attire. I think you'll find the fighter & ring editing to be pretty good if you give it a try. It's different, but you can do a lot with it. You can create a solid arena in about 3 minutes. I haven't made any full wrestlers yet, but I've dabbled in the suite, and already downloaded some great online wrestler/arena edits.

Yes you can make custom shirts. Someone made a great Terry Funk already and he's wearing one of his real life shirts. It's basically about importing texture files into the game. The game tells you the size each texture should be, and you can use any graphic design software to create, or resize them.

You can add weapons to matches in the pre match settings. There are also tables you can hit opponents with, slam them through, or set on fire. I already have Sabu, Bam Bam, and others from the ECW roster, as well as the ECW arena (which looks great). I've had some hardcore matches, and enjoyed them.

At this point, I have about 4 hours in the game and I'm have a fun time with it. It was rough at first, but the controls (for the most part) feel good, and the matches are fun once you find some wrestlers you like and learn how best top use them. The controls feel closer to the N64 wrestling games than anything else. There is a slight mix in of Fire Pro controls in terms of how the dev team has handled the lack of Camera buttons the N64 had. For example, finishers in this game are done by pressing X+A (Xbox gamepad), Square+Triangle (PS gamepad), same as most fire pro movesets.

The 10 man battle royale's are surprisingly fun and not the chaos you might imagine. It's cool to see that many people in the ring, and the mini game to stay in or toss someone out is far less annoying then I've seen in other wrestling games.

Easy to learn, hard to master. Fun solo or with friends. The game is a work in progress. I'm finding it worth the money, even at this state, but many might not feel the same. The dev team seems to be active in bug fixing and listing to the community. I hope that helped you, or anyone else who read this.

I have questions, if I may. How does the edit tool work as a separate thing? Do you need the game to use it or can I get a head start and start making and downloading characters with it now? How does it work as a separate thing from the game? Most games have this mode built in.

Thank you.
