First patch is almost out of the door, but I'll try to add private challenges in there already, so that creating games with your friend is more comfortable.
As for the problem you've encountered, could you please give a bit more information? What map was it? Was it a PBEM or online game, and in the latter case did the game start properly and could you see the opponent's moves in real time? Did the crash occur for the player who was playing his turn, or the one watching, and what was happening in the game at this moment? etc. As soon as we can pinpoint what exactly happened, we should be able to fix it.
PS. Every time you have a crash, please make sure you send the report using Unreal's crash reporter. We are getting all these crashes, and it will additionally help us to debug the problem.
Hi,
My friend and I have been trying to play co-op together on Husky Assault. We have gotten various issues, from being out of sync, to most recently not being able to do anything (most likely also due to ending up being out of sync). The games we created just auto-crash when we try to rejoin and it does not seem possible to get a co-op game going.
The multiplayer patch you are talking about- how far off is it and what does it actually patch? Will it improve the issues we are having with co-op.
The game we are playing is Online I would think? You can't really chose as far as I can see wether the game is PBEM or online. We both join at same time and play together at same time. I can see my friend move his troops, and he can see me move mine (at least until the game stops working).
As with the person above - we can't re-join the games and they won't go away (most likely due to being corrupt).
Edit: Oh - and for clarity: we are using our Steam accounts when we log on, not our Slitherine accounts.
Well said and agree fully. I am really keen on getting to play this game, but only for the co-op experience.
I'm curious - does co-op actually work for anyone at all?
