I am into mission #8 now only in Poland , ' Modlin Fortress' and have spend 5 days here, averaging 5-6 hrs/day gametime, including the 'Preludes' training missions.
For me this feels like a brand new PC2-game and I am also looking forward to switching to the 'Winter war in Finland' after Poland, instead of the Norwegian campaign.
I like 'PC1-GC' a lot and think those Dev's has made a great job here!
I bought just the base game, primarily to see how the Hot Seat game played. I was not thrilled with that, either. In other games I have played that have HS, when it is my turn to play it shows me what my opponent did in his turn, subject to fog of war. This game does not, which is a huge negative for me.
Are you saying that we must purchase DLC to get something that is not just a rehash of the same operations in PC1? Sorry. When I purchase a game I expect it to be new content. But that is just me.

The game in general has good improvements compared to PC1 but the map design of the mods is much better!
Also can recommend Storm over Europe ...
both mods 10/10
Don't get me wrong, I loved playing the entire Grand Campaign. And I imagine had I not played PC1 I would love it now in PC2.
