How to get Erich Hartman in 1943?

Finished the campaign on 1943 but I finished it on ahistorical and didn't get the popup for Hartman joining, I did all of the commendation point events, but what am I missing here? What did I need to do to get him to join?

to get hartmann and the Me262 in 43 u need to get the comet-papers in 1940 when raiding london(aerodrome in NW corner of the map) and hand them over in 1941 training.

I raided London but I guess I missed those papers, thanks for the info I guess.

there is an airfield top left left of that map, you get the papers by raiding it. You dont need to raid the actual city.

The objective for the commendation is to raid the city so I did that, I think I missed the airfield, and that's why I didn't get him, oh well I guess.

The Aerodrome in the London raid is a cache that contains a token unit of a Meteor fighter. The Aerodrome wasn't particularly guarded if I recall, so you can loot the Meteor by sending a scout vehicle that can move past the ZoC from entrenched enemy units.

This token unit prompts visits from the guy who'll make the 262s, at first allowing you to exchange the single Meteor for (5) 262s, and in '43 you get a complete gift unit of the Me 262 along with Erich Hartmann.

has been working perfectly fine, so i guess the bug is between ur ears.

i have just cheated my way to the prerrequisites and received Hartman with no problem, ¿are you sure you raided the hex and handed the papers later?.
