Hartmann did not show up in the Kummersdorf 43 scenario?

What triggers Hartmann too show up? a Japanese hero showed up, but not Hartmann. Any help would be most appreciated.

Do you have the me262 token that we got back in Axis Operations 1940? He and the gift me262 are the payoff for raiding the aerodome during the london scenario of sealion and going through the grand campaign.

steps to get hartmann:

1. raid aerodrome in london 1940 to get blueprints
2. trade blueprints during training for Me262 tokens(i think this was in 1941, but not 100% sure)
3. in kummersdorf 43 u get a Me262 with Hartmann, if u have the Me 262 still with u

Thank you for the advice, but do not remember that far back. There is a Me 262 on my prototype list that I do believe was from one of the raids.

it has to be 5x Me262 to trigger the event with hartmann

just checked there is 5 Me 262 at the start of the mission, but there is that option that ask for Me 262 at the beginning of 43 Kummersdorf.

that option at the start of kummersdorf 43 is for Me 163, those numbers are importend and not to be mixxed up. ;)

the Me 262 event with hartmann will trigger on turn 3 if i remember correctly.

just replayed the mission again, Japanese hero on turn 4,but know Hartmann. I"m missing something somewhere in the chain of command options. the developers need to give us what commands our needed.

The briefing says not to put any planes on the airfield in the north of the map. Probably because it will prevent the event for Hartmann from triggering. That is the only thing i can think of right now which might prevent you from getting Hartmann and the Me 262 unit.

It does not. But if you fill up both airfields, the Me 262 will have no place to land and crash, that's why you are told to keep the airfield clear. You actually only need to leave one slot free for it. This does not affect the event itself.

just replayed it, kept an open spot for the Me 262, still know Hartmann, just the Japanese hero.

Did you disable all mods before starting the 1943 campaign? Maybe a mod is causing the problem. And if that's not it then i suggest going to the official forums and post there.

I'm going to check that next, doing 43 without importing core units. also have the negative trait later prototypes and turn that off

turned all the mods off, still only the Japanese hero shows up will go to the forms. thank for all your help..
