Grab this line
cheat NewHero
And go to town.
Please, if you suggest cheating you better add that you can't get any achievements once you polute yourself with cheating on that savefile.
Note2: If you change difficulty between General and Colonel you will get different heroes for the different difficulty levels.
This does not work for the first scenario because changing difficulty requires restarting the campaign from the main menu, which gives a new seed anyway.
Haven't heard the Note 2 part: different heroes for the different difficulty levels. Are you sure you got this correct? If so, please explain in a little more detail what you actually mean. Maybe I'm misunderstanding that comment.
thanks
Ok, understand now. If at the end of a mission you change difficulty it will have a new path for the seeded heroes you gain. I tested this and can confirm it.
Speaking as someone who never gave a ♥♥♥♥ about them, didnt even cross my mind :p
Plus as long as you are trying to cheat by getting specific heroes, why does it matter?
But I do for example and not only here - but always in ANY Game.
They can then be assigned during the deployment phase by opening the info window on the unit you want to assign the hero to. On the left hand side of that window find “heroes”. Now you can assign the desired hero to the unit. If you have done it properly, the hero’s picture will now show up on the heroes tab in that unit’s info window.
You can assign one hero per unit to start, but can assign more as the unit gains experience, or if you select the “Force Concentration” trait.
Unless it has been changed recently you can assign 3 heroes per unit. If you take the general trait Force concentration it is 4 heroes per unit. General trait Force dispersion (not sure this is correct name) makes it 1 hero per unit and if you take both general traits you can assign 2 heroes. A units experience level does not affect the number of heroes you may assign.
True, the Exp-Hero Combination was part of PanzerCorps 1 if I remember correctly.
Yes, I was going off the information from the wiki, which confusingly provides information without always making it clear which game the information applies to. Thank you for the correction.
Made units actually unique, versus the current shenanigans.
Granted it did occasionally result in "meh" units with a whole +3 attack in heroes, but on the flip side, that +1range +1 move +2att 88 is godly :p
