Zaragoza mission prestige exchange? (spoiler)
Can anyone please explain what are the bonuses for giving away half of your prestige for 12 commendation points? (if any? flavor text suggests something)

Additionally: Do we know if the commendation points can be transferred between DLCs to upgrade your commander? If so, 12 points is surely game breaking isnt it?

You get 12 commendation points. There's a few more nice things to buy for them farther into the campaign.

Afaik CP cannot be transferred between DLCs, and they have nothing to do with commander traits.

Would've made a lot more sense if there was a minimum number of prestige you needed for this. If you enter this mission with 100 prestige you give away 50. Doesn't exactly make sense that you would be able to help out the Nationalists with such a number, or that they would give you 12 recommendation points for it. Guess the developers just reaaaaally wanted people to be able to spend the points, no matter how good you play. Kind of beats the point of having secondary objectives if you can just always buy your way into it at this point.
No sense of achievement anymore when you buy bonus units anymore, hurray!

This is correct, CP do not transfer.

As for a minimum price, no. We want everyone to have access to cool reward, regardless if you are struggling with prestige or overflowing with it. These rewards aren't just for the rich prestige printing players.

Heard enough of those complaints over needing 5000 prestige to enter fictional branches in the main campaign.

If someone wants to game the system and hide their prestige in reserve, we don't care. We care about making sure every player gets the opportunity to access to these potential rewards.

Yes, but i'd say the main problem there was lack of information. The prestige cap hit you out of nowhere, with no indication that you should save prestige prior to it. Not in the game, and not in a developer diary even.

As for the rewards. It's not much of a reward, you haven't done anything to merit that reward. It's technically a free gift. Nor is it a "potential" award as much as nobody is going to refuse a bar of gold when given to you. (for free, no strings attached)

I understand the will to let people play with your created content, but just like with the base game, these kind of approaches take out any sense of achievement from the game. What have i done to merit getting the fighter ace in the DLC? Nothing, i got it for free.
Why did i go above and beyond for secondary objectives after getting free points? No real reason, would've gotten points and thus the fighter ace for free anyways.

Once again, sorry for blatantly spewing my opinion everywhere, but that's what the internet is all about these days seems like, and it kinda feels good. XD

I reached every bonus objective except that one in the Battle of Ebro. So I could afford to "buy" Galland effortlessly and to skip the offer of 12 CP for half of ones prestige. The guys who needs that bargain should take it, the others not so everyone can be happy.

Actually you can only buy Galland effortlessly if you didn't do any or maybe 1 of the offers before. I had 5 points before the exchange and gotten all bonus objectives. But also took all the offers. I think there is like 2/3 bonus objectives before you get Galland, and there is another exchange before him (for a PzII).

For all intents and purposes if you went for any other exchange you NEED those 12 points to get Galland. You could skip it, but again why would you. It's free 12 points....?

Actually you´re right with this, my bad.

I forgot to mention that I´ve declined the very first deal for spare parts and, later on, also the deal for the Panzer II even though I´ve got some CP left after purchasing the Verdejo II tank, Galland and the very last spare parts of this DLC.
