Edit: It's not only this one. Several are broken. Seems to be related to some specific terrain type?
LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 3198] Texture2D /Game/Graphics/Environment/Landscape/WE/Beach/WE_Win_Beach_roughness.WE_Win_Beach_roughness: Serial size mismatch: Got 0, Expected 3378
Why don't you test your patches? Quality management is important, you know?
Hi Alberto, can you please have a look at the message error sent by Ram Man ?
I have exactly the same at the end of the scenario "At the gates of Moscow" 'Barbarossa Campaign". Seems there is a texture file missing or empty in the unreal engine ubulk texture file.
Thanks to fix, so i can continue the campaign.
So far, we cannot repro this issue on our end. Anyone having this issue with any saves, could you please send a sample save to rudankort@yandex.ru ? Thanks in advance!
Or play the tutorial. After a few missions you get the error when loading mission 5 or 6 or something. But anyway I will send you a save now.
Edit: Ok done. A save that results in the crash, and one that is in the previous mission, one move before victory, so you can see it crashes however i start that mission.
Missing file can be downloaded here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ezb2dgkbrdsp7oj/WE_Win_Beach_roughness.uexp?dl=0
It needs to be placed in [Game install folder]\PanzerCorps2\Content\Graphics\Environment\Landscape\WE\Beach
Alternatively, you can roll back to previous version 1.1.1 until this is fixed. To do this, open game's properties in Steam app, go to BETAS tab and choose "legacy - v1.01.1".
Let me know if this helps or not, and sorry for this mess. Feeling really bad about this situation.
It works, I can continue now. Thanks a lot for the quick response!
I ask myself why this wasn't found in testing, but I like the quick and easy workaround.
Deployment process is automatic. We believed that, as long as the build itself is tested, it will come up on Steam without issues. I'm still not sure what exactly went wrong here, but we'll analyze this case together with Slitherine guys and see how we can prevent this in the future.
