Yes it is, because they also feed you prestige from all hex captures as well as when they force an enemy unit to surrender. Sharing with your ally is a two way street. =)
Well that all depends what they are sharing... clearly they want to share global world domination!
Although even that is debatable, it is very likely the Axis partners would be at each other's throats after the end of having won WW2. Not quite the same as US vs USSR perhaps though. lol
I have read many a source of Germans looking down upon their southern European partners, and it's highly unlikely two 'master race' mentalities can coexist in Germany and also in Japan.
Seeing as this is one of the primary sources of complaints of scenarios running into infinity... I would suspect this feature to outright be disabled until a better solution can be found to make the new and improved bonus system jive with no turn limits.
Already now I do not wnat to go back to the old Panzer Corps anymore really like the new features. But especially the encirclment mechanic calls for more turns or unlimited ones...
I am running already a camapign with turn limit - and the +5 strength of the AI - no turn limit would make for quite some action ;-D
As for the unlimited turns problem, you could add a button that allows the player to end the scenario after the oroiginally intended amount of turns, checking which bonus goals were reached at that point, just as within the normal turn limit.
agree, every totalitarian system needs an enemy to blame for bad economy, war and other crisis.
if one enemy is down, maybe a recent ally wil be next (even if you shared prestige with him before &)
Sorry for the technical issues you are experiencing. =(
It seems to be linked to 'disable turn limit' being at odds with new bonus objective systems.
So you can continue to play uninterrupted...
Instead of hitting 'end turn'
Use the cheat code:
runany Victory 0
to push the game into the next scenario. That should allow you to continue play while we investigate the issue and hopefully have a better solution in the future.
Disabling of the turn counter is not conductive to having a bonus objective system. So something will have to give.
For anyone else reading, I strongly recommend not turning on 'disable turn limit' in any DLC content for the time being.
Each scenario individually is disabling this problematic feature.... but as you and several others have noticed, Brunete has slipped through the cracks and is causing all manner of problems.
You should have received the visual notification of 'objective complete', which also displays how many CPs you earned, and also your running total.
It comes in the form of a pop up message.
I don't recall seeing the pop up and until the end of the scenario it showed that objective as being incomplete. I had 5 Army of Africa infantry garrisoning the Seville spaces the entire time.
