Thanks for the laugh. I've done some digging, I think it's the same map but where you can deploy your ground units is different.
This is my first go at Kiev. My last campaign I went via Africa.
I tried almost every possible outcome there can be, and tbh Eastern Front is my favorite, especialy Kursk Scenario is great imo. and Historical path at all is better imo, more fun and challenge.
This is my second play through, I went via Africa as I have relatives who were involved in the campaigns there.
Managed to encircle Kiev, really wished I had Deadly Grasp on this play though but managed to get all bar one unit in the city to surrender, made a decent amount of prestige.
I feel like the game really opens up and comes into its own in the Africa and Eastern Front campaigns.
