Disembarking Paratroopers-Help!

I do not understand why I am not able to disembark my paratroopers, it just says no suitable hex on every hex. Do I have to be do this at another airfield?

Paratroopers should be able to disembark on any open hex.

But if you are transporting normal infantry, no they can't parachute out. They would need direct airfield to airfield disembarking.

What type of unit are you using exactly? Fallschirmjagers are the German paratroopers.

I fought the crusader battle and had a paratrooper that I couldn't put on a plane while he was on a landing strip. I bought him a truck after the battle. I have to read more about them in the manual maybe they can't take off from landing strips is desert or it's a bug.

Might be you have no transport planes asigned to you in that mission, check in the top of the U.I..

There is information on the top of the screen if you have naval/train/air transports. There are no air transports at Crusder scenario, so paratropers will not be usefull there.

Lol, talk about your typical Hurry Up and Wait exercise!!!

1) 0400 hrs wake up
2) get dressed and re-check your packed gear
3) 0420 hrs fallout into formation
4) 0425 hrs double time it to truck pick up location
5) 0440 hrs arrive at pick up location
6) wait for trucks to arrive
7) 0520 hrs board trucks and leave for airport
8) 0605 hrs arrive at airport and fall out
9) wait for plane to arrive
10) Get told at 1000 hrs there is no plane in this mission
11) 1001 hrs wait for trucks to arrive.

confirmed. this just happened to me as well. it says: "Unavailable: select transport for Embark"

I used them in both the missions previous to this with no problems.
