If you max out video settings, I believe this effect won't be so prominent... but if your system can't handle it, you're definitely going to notice performance hits from maxing out the video settings.
With the blur it's playable... but my eyes hurt after 5 minutes.
EDIT: You can also disable the in-game AA and enable it in the nvidia options. Should work just as well.

Press ALT + Z to start the nvidia overlay and select your filter options.
I got rid of the blurry look and was able to adjust the look to my preferences.
