So many improvements. Being able to edit configurations of units in bulk is mind blowing, and that's just one aspect. Launching direct from editor to test is equally amazing... I don't think I've seen that functionality since... hell I guess Starcraft 2.
Yup they really knocked it out of the park with the editor.
I did read a post that said direct-from-editor battles is bugged. But that is not a problem for me personally. Just wondering on that one...
I just played a game direct from editor and it worked fine, no issues, you can then bounce right back to editor and make small changes and go right back into the game, really cool.
I so much agree on Workshop, but know nothing about the difficulty of including it. This game will be around a long time, and Workshop tends to keep the buzz alive.
Also, Order of Battle game does not, and probably never will, have Workshop. So that's a hole in my argument right there!
+1 Absolutely makes sense, though the Steam Workshop setup makes it extremely simple for people who aren't familiar with installing mods, it's very effective.
Anyways...

That lead's to my bigest grip the ai in panzer corps 2 be it editor or the campaign will never buy any new units other then player or dev's pre set starting units for round one,
I hope at a later date the tool's for the ai are fixed and more tool's are added in to editor fore better ai setting's that work,
Panzer corps 2 is just unplayable do to the broken ai and ai tool's that dont work or just missing most of the ai tool's at all
The first game, Panzer Strategy, is quite similar and may be the way to go if interested, as the price is much better.
OH, no editor, but the save game files are quite editable for both games...
That game is broken beyound repair!
After all there's a reason the devs abandoned it and made Strategic Mind Blitzkrieg instead.
I agree with you (although the cut scenes are entertaining for me). SMB is a great game for going towards realism and having a challenge. There are a couple of strong weaknesses here as well (like not being able to custom play a travel/flight route to avoid known dangers), but I like this game and PC 2 is an unfinished not-thoroughly tested mess.
