I think what they mean is, that if you move your arty within 2 tiles of a infantry for example that you killed in your turn it will "remember" that your artillery is there and send a bomber to it. You can set traps that way.
Yes and planes also reveal under them when they fly home at the start of their turn. So their vision persists into that turn.
But come to think of it i havent seen any evidence of any Ai in the game at all so far. so i guess thats also why it cant cheat.
I had a damaged artillery unit way back of the frontlines with no enemy units or recon in 6 hexes and,in the AI turn a a fighter appeared from nowhere and attacked that unit. There´s NO way any AI unit had line of sight to it.
Remarkably, I'd second Billy. Send a save game to the devs. They seem pretty keen to receive them.
You know this is weird and been wondering sometiems too that AI isnt purely legit. Just now AI decided to attack my tactical bomber in my airfield like 10hexes behind my frontlines, when there is alot more juicier targets in there for it. AI had no unit in proximity of airfield or anyway to see it on last turn. But it just decides to fly to my airfield ant atk it? Its Dover map so it has those radar stations, but their range in info is 4. Closest radar mast is like... 15-20hexes away. AI had no airplane to reveal my airplane in field
