Thanks, but I rather prefer invest in Panzer campaign Scheldt '44 from John Tiller's in middle '20 : more accuracy, more realism, better IA, thousands of hours of play and good opponents if needed. Waiting this moment, I'll still be playing to WITE and WITW for the same reasons than above !

I'll wait and buy PC2 in a bundle on HB :)

you really do not expect a sh.it.storm and neg. reviews when you only offer the big expensive marshal edition in preorder? and later, we're able to get a cheaper more basic version?

i mean reddead2 got mixed reviews because there was a sale 2 weeks after release and all felt scammed !
just saying.... before release xD

Why would there be? Offering a basic version for a lower price on release day is quite a bit different than offering the same preorder package for less within 2 weeks after release, dont you think? Not that I would be against the basic version being available for preorder now but from a business standpoint it is probably not a bad idea to offer the FM edition first.

sure it is a bit different - but the outcome could be very similar:
the customers will feel scammed.
this is the first time i saw a preorder of only the biggest expansion NOT mention there will be cheaper versions...
other titles show all versions on the steampage directly and may only offer the big one with preorder-discount.
np, you can decide... but this ...
it is probably a bad idea from a PR/reputation standpoint not beeing transparent - > and if you got your "mixed" reviews the first week, it will be an economic problem...
and then it's my problem because of no further investment in this title ;)

maybe it will work anyway, but it's risky!

Wish I could have bought the 59 euro version. I could have played in the beta. Well, I got the second best, the currently offered Field Marshal edition. I can't wait for the game. Have played PC1 to death and it's one of the best games ever made! The only games comparable are the spiritual predecessors, the Panzer General games. And maybe Fantasy General for those who are into that kind of thing. This game I will play for thousands of hours. I have spent similar amount of time playing the first game and I expect to play even more with the new one!

I hope we will get tons of expansions! And I love the idea of alternative historical outcomes! I know we got something similar in PC1 but it seem this one will be more chiselled.
