UTA and Civ rep HATE.

Hello,
I'm in a system where I've been unfortunate to make both the factions hate me. And so, they refuse to allow me to gain rep by flogging them goons. All sub quests have been completed and so theres no way to gain rep.

One fothe stations has 2 blue prints and now I can't get to them. How can I gain some rep?

I believe the missions rotate every so many jumps. Explore other systems for a while and come back later. More missions should become available after a few jumps.

If they're techs you can do without for now, you could wait until you come across them again. Unless you've severely restricted the size of your galaxy, you should be able to find the same tech in a few different systems...

Or you could always use a more explosive diplomatic approach.

Cheers for the reply. I also discovered that if a faction is 'hate' with you, then after a while of in activity, and i think you have to be out of the system, they will revert to enemy. So you can go back, throw some goons at them, and you're back drinking tea swapping stories of howmany nasty treasonous civ'y pilots you've each killed lol.

You shouldnt even have to wait a while, just jump out of the system and then jump back in and they'll go up to enemy.

I also prefer the explosive diplomatic approach ;)

eventually there is always a redemption mission that will allow you to get enough respect that you can trade goons to be their friend(p.s. you will have to tank some damage to get into the base befor you can trade, THEN they will stop shooting you)(p.p.s. costs alot,not worth it). you can kill the bases, besides they already hate you, what could you possibly lose. you can just leave and go to another star system where the blue print is avalible. you have lots of options to choose from, now go forth destroying!

Just man up any stubborn starbases in Chapter 2. Chapter 3 hint: Don't kill inner galaxy starbases. You'll find out why in Chapter 4

go into space and their will be ships to destroy most of the time in random no-event places but only kill ships of a certain fac to get the other fac's rep

You can always give them goons for rep. You just have to eat their lasers and hurry your butt in there before they slaughter you. Then you can dump all your goons on making them like you again.

Unless that changes in the higher difficulties.

Sadly, the initial question was that they're at the highest level of hate. Once they despise you that much, they even rufuse your generous offerings of first class goons, beaten and converted to the cause. lol.

Just wait for a bit. the rep will eventurally change to one level above the lowest. then you can start offering your godly goons! :D.
