EDIT:
Pinned a thread in mods forum here:

What if other players share original files from mods they have downloaded in the past, that would be allowed?
I know that mod i was looking for had this url:
http://www.minmax-games.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=3316
Unfortunately, there is no direct link for Big Beef. It was small, and he managed to sneak it onto our forums.
The real issue is these mods are a bit tad crashy. We can’t host them ourselves or we become liable for them. I was really hoping the author would put them on ModDB, or NexusMods, but chances are they don’t want spend the effort to do that at this point.
The Big Beef Mod can still be downloaded here:

Thanks a lot, i didnt know about that tool but since i had forums url ive been able to download the mod i was looking for.
If someone is looking for Big Fight for Beef (which is a mix between bigfightforuniverse and bigbeef) links and files on this post and are saved aswell, that includes original mods used for it.

I do know that they were uploaded, linked to on the forums, and stored to a 3rd party site during development, MediaFire I think, so their availability would not be affected by the forums going down, only if the 3rd party site ended up eating the files do to inactivity, etc.. What would have been lost though are a few of the hotfixes I posted to the forums regarding errors on our part that caused crashes, like forgetting a " ; " at the end of 1 line near a weapon section, something anyone could fix on their own by editing the file in Notepad++ or similar program.
Just make sure to delete the previous .dso version of the file when you do any editing, otherwise it will continue to use the previous, non updated one, and it will look like it's still not working.
Maker of the Big Beef mod here.
My apologies for not providing anyone a direct link outside the SPAZ forums.
(never thought it would've been needed)
So I just uploaded the latest iteration of it I still have (I kept all the versions I made) To Dropbox.
So here a direct link to Big Beef for you guys.

I might one day make a unique thread in the Modding forum for it.
It was nearing being finished when I put the project in the fridge.
Still needs the Stations and the motherships to receive an overhaul.
But there were two things the I couldn't fix.
1. The 30 linkpoint limit that this mod EASILY was hitting ( have an Idea that could circumvent it)
2. The Tier 2 and Tier 3 stations are swapped!!! Especially the miner ones! Not much an issue in Vanilla, but a massive deal in BigBeef.
Point 2 was the dealbreaker that put the project in the fridge and had kept it there for this long.
And yes. I still plan on finishing this project "one day".
Just don't hold your breath for it though, I'm not rushing.
