More ability slots and other things and thougts
This game is amazing! But it can get better, I believe. Sorry for my English.

It would be better to have more ability slots. 6 is too few. And key combos, for example shift+a or a+b.

And level cap is bad idea at all in all games, hard specialization is not good. It would be better to make high requirements to high levels and make more classes like earth-wind mage (sand whirlwinds, stone and metal spikes, ground spikese and "shotgun"spells, wind blast, etc.), assassin, etc., and few summoning spells like summon undead and summon elemental, maybe some witch doctor's ability like summon spirit after target's death. Diversity in combat is key, we must chose right abilities in right situations, not 2-3 skills in all situations. It would be more interesting to use different tactics against different enemies than *only* use our own reactions and press 2-3 ability keys.

Visual effects is slightly monotonous. For example, we have starting witch doctor's poison spell and putrid shadow spell, both have same visual effects. It would be nice to convert one to insect swarm (with visual effect on the target and new target's animation like struggle against insects, not only the icon near the target), just the visual effect, not mechanics.

And thank you for the game.

I also think more skill slots is important to fix, if it can be done easily :)

I also agree with your other points.

I think about NG+ (and NG++, etc.) with increased level cap - on NG is 25, on NG+ is 35, on NG++ is 45, for example, maybe with more interesting class and non-class abilities on NG+ and NG++. NG+ is generally a great idea)
Half-melee enemies would be nice too (there are shotgun users, it's semi-melee, but I think that earth elementals must use melee attacks with rare ranged, for example, not only weird ranged shoots; scorpions could use some melee attacks, protagonist could use kick and so on).

This game seems simple but it's really interesting and can become one of the most interesting games.

100% disagree. The unlimited levels so you can make your character do everything in the game is just another hand holding tactic. Its mainly there so you dont have to feel nervouse or scared about messing up your build. Personally i think players should be punished for not actualy thinking about what skills they want to use. So many games replay value is in making new characters and trying new things. If you can do everything on the first run the replay value is cut down by a good amount.
Nothing wrong with more skill slots though!

Look: you have three classes now and many general skills, and I hope that devs will add more classes in the futuse. And my last thought is NG+ with increased level cap (I've seen something like that in Darksiders 2, for example). Maybe with dual classes? I don't speak about jack of all trades with press F to win, but about some diversity against different enemies in different situations. Now I play as witch doctor with poison and fear and use only three skills in most situations (even with my poor item setup because I can't still get more items with nature mastery, I have only one weakest nature ring): putrid shadow, fear (if it doesn't proc on putrid shadow), then orb of poison. Plus shotgun because of good synergy. Sometimes (on bosses, for example) I use arcane orb too just for some acceleration. Abilities like blood sacrifice and lifesteal are useless at all without certain WD's skills, for example (I think that blood sacrifice is useless at all in current condition). It's not build with 75% poison tree and 25% lifesteal tree, it's 100% poison only, although my char have lifesteal on hotbar. And it's sad. I've tried lifesteal build (but it's useless against giant creatures because of bug with soul splitter, the orbs appear too high), and that build still uses something about 3-4 skills: arcane orb, lifesteal and/or vampiric shot and maybe fear. With shotgun, of course.

For example, I remember Nox, it's a good old arcade game, there is only three classes without any builds and it's more interesting for me than games with hard specializations because there is tons of magic which we need to use in different situations.

That only works when there's content which is, in fact, only accessible by different skills and classes. And as far as I see here, the only thing that changes is how you tackle enemies and equip yourself. So unless you are really curious about trying the different classes out, there's no additional replay-value gained by a level cap. For instance, I'm only interested in the gunslinger, so I'm definitely not starting another playthrough with another class when everything still stays the same.

In that case, removing the cap would make me want to play the game longer, just to unlock my fullest potential. Heck, even Fallout 4, which got criticized for giving you unlimited levels and skills, has more replayability just because of the different factions and questchains which can lock each other out.
