Controller Profile Available in Community Section
Hey all I created a Xbox One Controller Profile in Steam and it works pretty well I think. Might take a minute to get used to, but if something isn't to your liking you can always change it. Heck I may change a few things in the near future as I play more of the game. So I may update it from time to time.

Anywho, check it out and have fun! If you have any questions or comments feel free to let me know.

Thanks for doing this! We may add official controller support eventually, but have a number of other higher priority tasks to get through first.

No problem. I mainly play on a TV so am not at a desk much these days. I could play with my wireless m/kb but it is more comfortable to play with a controller.

Really enjoy the game so far despite some of its flaws. I think friendly NPCs need some work so if you kill anyone in town then others will start shooting at you as well. Currently it is just easy 1 on 1 fights except with a few select NPCs like Blacksmith, Wizard, and Cinco. Anywho I will have to make another post about stuff like that specifically.

I agree. I'll do some work on the friendly NPC AI eventually to improve them. Glad to hear you are enjoying the game!

This sounds good... can anyone tell me how to get to it?

Go into Big Picture Mode, go to the game, go to Manage I think and then there should be an option for Controller Configuration. You will need to have your controller plugged in or turned on. After you are in the Configuration Menu hit the button to load a configuration and then you will be taken to a page with different options on the left. Go to the Community section and you will find the configuration there. Once you have it set you can exit Big Picture Mode and launch the game normally and it will load the configuration automatically.

In the build that is currently on the beta branch and will be on the main branch soon, I have disabled some joystick inputs by default. These can be re-enabled in the options by unchecking the "Disable Joystick Input" checkbox. This is a fix for a number of people that were having problems with camera drift while playing. I wanted to let y'all know because I expect you'll have to uncheck this option to regain the ability to move the camera with a controller.

Shouldn't affect controller config since it uses keyboard and mouse bindings.
