Emerald Maze 2 Path to challenge?

For Emerald Maze 2, managed to find the treehouse by hearing birds chirping near path exits, with the treehouse presumably being the 'riches' the sign refers to.

Anyone know how to find the 'challenge' the sign also refers to? Sound playing for other three exits sounds the same, only hear birds at one of the four which leads to treehouse. Not sure if 'challenge' is definitively something or just refers to respawning of the mobs for the map.

In one of the intersections you'll hear the song of the forest coming from two different directions :D

Thanks to Chenngis - I couldn't figure out what to do with the clue.

Found both challenge and treasure area now. Routes are below, at third instersection have choice of going north or south (birds at both). Choosing to go North and following birds will lead to Treehouse. Choosing South will lead to the Challenge fight against the Unicorn and unlocks a crystal location if the fight is won.
