access skill tree?

I'm trying to figure out how to get iron and found a post saying you need to unlock it in the skill tree. I have literally no idea where the skill tree is - is this referring to the stat points on the equip page? I feel like it's super obvious and I'm just dumb

Hold down the mouse wheel and a menu should appear. You can get the skills tree by selecting skills there.

Also can't find the skill tree .perk tree=skill tree???
