Necromancy?

How the hell do you get this skill? Is it even in the game?

It is . Just do your errands from the Mailbox .

Unfortunately the game is less than clear on what to do, I managed to figure that out but didn't know how to delete my post, or reply to it. Anyways, for future reference, you have to do all the errands up until after the errand that has you build a cauldron. The point of confusion was I needed iron, but couldn't mine it, I thought by having the mining II spell that i'd be able to mine it, but, you actually need the skill in the skill tree mining II, if it were me, I'd either make that sign in the mine more distinctly informative or, rename either the spell or the perk name to make it easier to differentiate, however; this is besides the point, all of the confusion anyone is having is due to the lack of useful descriptions for items etc.

My issue now is trying to figure out where I go/how to restore my "aura" pool, which is tied directly to necromancy skill. There's supposed to be a chapel or something in town, and I've gone into every building and haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. The most "obvious" building is that bell tower where you start - but no luck there either.

East of the pool. Veth (the developer) LOVES his hidden areas that have only a small indication that they are there.

I think you mean west. Find the little pool in town and head left from there. Just...don't get too close to all the bats. O_O

you get necro by doing the mailbox quests. i really wish I knew this before wandering like an idiot but whatever im not even mad.

once you get it you are told to recharge your skulls at the cathedral/chapel in town.
if you have explored enough one of the towns people/kids give you an errand to find the cemetery.

if you do it there is a place that says "necromancers only". so now that you are you should instinctively attempt to get in.

Those bats are wicked o.O i was just walkin around there one day and died, I was like whaaat then I realized I was attacked by bats LOL
