How to mine Iron Ore?

Do I first have to unlock the skill Mine II to be able to mine iron ore or is there another way?
Would the mining spell III work?

I've unlocked Mine II and still can't find out how to mine iron ore.

I'd really love to know!

Hey, in the perk/skill tree, you must unlocking Miner II.
You can use whichever spell you want to mine :)

But where is iron ore found? I've tried everywhere, and many of the rocks just give me "???" when I try to use Miner II on them.

I think you confuse the spell mining II with the skill from the skill tree miner II... could this be?
Miner II is nothing you can use, it is an ability you unlock with skill points...
I still have to level up to reach it... :( but soon I will be able to :)

Could you consider to make the perk/skill earlier acessible? Maybe I am alone with this opinion, but I think it is to far up in the tree... =)

in which shop do you find bombs? just found a potion guy, spell trader and some random dude with fishing stuff

You can also during your travels when you mine rocks, find the iron fragments etc, then smelt it in the furnace to make iron.

Which happens very rarely, so far I only have gathered 1 iron bar that way, and reaching miner II in the skilltree is a real challenge with how fast you gain gather xp and levels after 3-4.

There is a secret shop in town, with a goblin. It is in the house with the nest on it in the west, you pass it on the way to the mine. You have to get to the tapdoor in the upper-left corner, reaching it also includs some jumping with E

ohhhhh I didnt even know you can jump with E. I guess there are alot of other options where you can jump? Or is this the only one?

I know of one other shop, where you can jump to reach a chest. And in the Forest you can only jump at certain places. The game teaches that at the sing with the big red arrow.

I definitely agree. Considering the introductory quests in your mailbox need you to make a cauldron, requiring iron, this whole thing is an absolute roadblock to reaching one of the major game features.

I did the quest and made a cauldron quest and everything the quest asked for and i dont get any new ones tho
