i doubt it. this is a simulator intended to provide training for flying real RC planes outside of the matrix. It defeats the purpose if you are not using a real transmitter.

I would say console controllers are more suited because they fit in the hands a lot better than any transmitter I've ever used, xbox one and series x controllers have less then 10% deadzone with more than enough resolution, sony ps controller sticks are even better and can outperform most if not all transmitters.

I am wondering myself if xbox controllers are supported.

Yes the controllers work but the auto centering on game controllers make them sub optimal.

Yeah that could be problem because I crashed my eachine 150 into a bin lol, will any transmitter with a 3.5mm jack plug work with sims?

If you have a USB to 3.5mm trainer cord converter, yes... BUT it is also sub optimal.

I believe you are limited to 4 or 5 channels and NO switches. That is due to the trainer signal, not the sim.
