my simulator cant recognize my Spektrum interlink DX

when i start the simulator it says that i should plug in my controller and the controller is plugged to the computer. what should i do ?

Does the Interlink appear under "Devices and Printers"?

If not you may need an externally powered hub.

Also if you are attempting to use a laptop make sure that you have Window's power settings set to "Maximum Performance" to avoid powering down USB devices.

I finally found the problem with my controller. If you have any MSI hardware and are running Dragon Center, it installs a program called cfosspeed. I kept uninstalling it but it would show up upon restart. You have to go into Dragon Center click on the gear > support icon on left > search > uninstall Lan Manager which is cfosspeed. Apparently it breaks Steam somehow.

Hope this helps someone. I've been working on this for months.
