They would sell theire very very overpriced spektrum ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ :D where you cant do only 50% of what you could get done on your openTX transmitter ... for those people, we are using "toys" or "toy transmitters from china" (theire boards came from china too -.-' but the most of them didnt know that and still believe in santa clause) ...
I think, they would that you buy a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ serial to USB interface Stick (not expansive if you buy one from ebay and not from horizon or realflight). There you have to put your master/slave connector in it to use - or you use a RX on the USB Stick and bid to, with your TX - done that for years with graupner. Now i have a jumper T18pro - with USB HID native support - but cant get up and running in all these "traditional" sims from the very old "big names" of the past years ...
My suggestion to you:
Switch away from these old ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lame comapnys and use software like accuRC, TBS velocidrone and others - they support native USB HID and often have versions on linux running too (which this traditional companys never get done with theire ♥♥♥♥♥♥ SIMS to build for linux support) - its time to go forward and show them that not the prices made quality :D quality made quality regardless of any pricing.
edit* i think, you can get it done with a xbox controller simulator which is set between input signal and output to the sim ... just a idea
Steam often grabs controller input for big picture mode functions, which interferes with most games and programs.
There is a sticky on this forum that addresses this too.
Make sure it is off in Steam then try it.
You can use anyone of the radior, but you have to edit your choise and setup your own radio whith sticks and knobs for each channel.
I use my TX16S, and it`s no problem.
Hey, Shhota I'm having a similar challenge with my radiomaster tx16s. Can you walk me through how you resolved yours?
