Other than the leaderboard, what does this game offer that's different from Factorio? Why should I play this game instead?

The short Tutorial that we have shows me very little. Like the title say's i don't have a clue how to play this game and no tutorial to show me how. I'm just going around collecting gold and selling it and upgrading what i can. That's it,after that i'm lost and don't have a idea what to do.
