Is there a way to get a star on the tutorial? it looks like you can but I have no idea how to get it.

Hey CM, thanks for playing! The tutorial star comes from the section at the end where you specifically fill in a small number of spaces. It follows the same rules as the other stages, with the added wrinkle that it the stage ends as soon as one match is made.

For an exact solution:
First place three blocks of the same color in the marked space so that there's a space in the middle, for instance two on the left, empty space, and one on the right. Then kick the fourth block of that color into the open space so all four spaces clear at once. There's also an achievement hidden here that has been explained in another thread.

Hmm, that's exactly what I did but the star still didn't pop. What am I missing?

Hey Pengo! (And heck yeah, Pengo!)

Just to be totally clear, are you aiming for the platinum star or for the tutorial achievement? Nothing "pops" on the platinum, but you'll see it (a white/silver star instead of gold/purple) on the main menu if you've earned it. The achievement is different but will pop up the usual Steam "unlocked" bit when you get it (explained in this post).

I just tested both again and they're working for me, but let me know if it's still not working. Ahh, that was a *platinum* star in the menu! I wrongly figured it was just a blank space, my bad XD Maybe you could add a little shiny sheen to it? For a sense of pride and accomplishment? Animated, even?

And yeah, pengo is totally my jam... I can roll a few sets of level 16's yet, lol. That's why I picked up your game!
