Stop being salty. The game hasn't been released for 2 weeks and the devs got hundreds of suggestions on how to balance things, while fixing bugs every other day...

They addressed the community feedback, now give them a few days to plow through all the suggestions.

Glad that you read the forum posts. Take your time to find out which suggestions are compatible with your vision the game. Don't get pressured into changing things.

Edit: Some of the posts suggesting balance changes were really good, others seemed like they don't fully understand the game mechanics yet.

Could you not add an option to manually select difficulty, instead of it forcibly going up after every run? I want to play more, but not with this difficulty incline breathing down my neck and forcing me to min-max.

So many complaints about the difficulty. I'll admit it took me more than 23 attempts to clear the First Book. I got frustrated but I got better with each run. I cleared the Second Book on my 3rd attempt, and the Third book on my 5th attempt.

I suppose if they do some balance changes. My first suggestion would be to not automatically increase difficulty upon clearing a book.

i can't launch the game since the update :/
steam say Disk Write Error
i try many thing to fix it... restart pc/steam, erase download cache, change disk game files.
nothing worked...

I can't launch the game either, download is stuck at 100%.

UPDATE for the Disk Write Error . The .exe file was in quarantine in my antivirus software . Made an exception , and it was all good .

Hello Nerocell, you need to add .exe file as an exception in your Antivirus software, otherwise it will automatically delete it.

надо бы баланс поправить,а то невозможно пройти 4 главу сейчас,какие только связки героев я не ставил,не могу и все,доходил максимум до элитного боя перед боссом,и там сливал все ресурсы и отлетал на респавн,проблема в том что прогрессии нет в игре почти не какой,да открываются навыки и реликвии,но этого мало очень,на более сложных сложностях нужно усиливать и бонусы которые получают герои,события переработать что бы больше награда была как и материальная так и бонусная характеристик,ну вы поняли в общем, в dead cell прекрасная прогрессия
