Cursed Watch - tooltip or bug

Cursed Watch says you gain 2 AP every 2 turns. It goes up like this: 1,2,boost -> 0,1,2,boost and you get the AP on the 3rd, 7th, 10th, 13th turn and so on.

Technically that's 2 AP every ~3 turns (possibly 4, maybe in multi-wave battles). So there's a bug or tooltip/comprehension error somewhere.
