Semi-achievement-guide-review in 2025

I dont want to bother with formating for proper guide or review, since this is niche game. Hence I just put this in discussion incase anyone curious / want to get extra information

ALL ACHIEVEMENT ARE OBTAINABLE as for current patch.

I pretty much approach the game like how i played party-based roguelike in the past, by assigning random team unless something prevent me from snowballing to kill the end boss of each books (book 6 boss is pretty tough). Early game was a struggle since you didnt know which strategy that work for each characters. Judging that many ppl complaint about how atrocious the game balance is, here my tips incase you somehow want to chase all achievements for this game :

1. Apprentice mode :
I think this is fair difficulty, making you able to be lenient with essences usage. Easier to snowball and i love seeing full essence restore to 100++ . Allow you to survive some of the stupid death mistake that not intended (enemy casting depression and deci

2. Reading event guide :
Probably go in blind first, then only start reading when you had issue or trying to get specific achievements (since it required alot of specific relics), at least it will reduce amount of retries

3. Cheat Engine speedhack :
Yeah, we know this game animation is pretty slow and wasted alot of time, I think I managed to enjoy it abit with apprentice mode and 200% speed modifier. Combat still required strategic thinking though.

4. Learn proper teambuilding :
I dunno how say aside from going too deep. Just like many other party based roguelike, you will need to priorities 1 character as main damage with most investment, while other getting support / utility spell. Regardless the character, dont sleep on alteration reduce damage, you can stack alot of them and only that can scale to late game (other than wall) for damage mitigation

Achievements specific guide (based on rarity) :

1. 4 Decomposition
I believe there is skill that can trigger decomposition on all enemies, just make one of the enemy have 1 stack (double trigger if reduce from 1 to 0) with 3 enemies total

2. Beat Hellsing with all 9 characters
I did with this team lineup :
Dracula, White Lady, Bloody Mary
Hecate, Baron Samedi, Headless
Dr Frankenstein, Creature, Lilith

Just bring enough raw scaling for 2 characters at least, i almost failed my 2nd team since curse stack is weak and boss mechanic counter it since you spam weak damage skill and recharge to do damage

3. 9 Depression
There is 1 skill that trigger aoe depression again if enemy have 1 stack that reduce all enemy damage. With enough AP, you can spam recharge multiple times

4. 40 recharge with reminiscience
Wasnt that hard, you have 2 skill that can do this, although I prefer to use the one that heal your whole team & apply it.

5. Beat 1 book without losing devil health
This was bugged on my 1st slot, so i quickly made 2nd slot and cleared it with blood mary. You can alt+F4 when you take damage to restart the battle. Just to be safe, dont even modify your health during battle for this since some ppl mentioned about it. Easier on new run, as long as you dont beat 1st book (you can grind abit for more relic / skill unlock)

6. 150 damage first blood
Easily done with that 1 skill which double trigger when enemy have protection. There are plenty of source to get +damage

7. Link to creator discount
Ez, just remember to use the skill first when it is at 0 cost, then use like 5AP on creature to make that spell costed 0 again.

8. 6 moon phase
Get like 4 different skill that switch phase, then get relic that make your skill costed 0. Else, hecate recharge cost 1 AP each and spammable.

9. 3 kill lilith
Go to easiest enemy, make 3 of them vulnerable then use the skill that lilith have in 3rd slot (sonic boom? that is conclusion)

10. Terrifying x15
Easier if you read my guide above, I love to chase events that spam terror. Only issue is that you need 15 different nodes (i assume multiple terror in 1 node count as 1), else you can use fight to trigger terror at location you can control


There, i think other achievements should be straightforward enough.
If you can beat book 6 boss, you can get all achievements (with apprentice mode of course).
