After beating the game, can I have a "Chill mode" please?

I just beat Helsing and now I just want to have a chill run every now and then, trying different comps or even randomizing it.

But I can't. The game is eternally set to max difficulty now. If I don't have a fantastic toolset of debuffs and damage from the get go, it's very difficult.

Can I please be able to adjust the difficulty after beating the game? I really enjoy it but don't always want to sweat my ass off.

Yeah! I want to, And a mode to increase the dificult too, maybe an "ascension mode" like slay the spire with adittional bufs to enemys o debufs to we.

Even just for testing fresh new heroes on Book 1, it use the unadjustable latest difficulty.
Guess developers telling us "git gud" just like Dark Souls Bloodborne which never has difficulty setting
