Pro tip: use terror, it is a good tool to plan ahead, specifically for elite bosses and all
We are aware that the overall difficulty of the game is a bit too harsh. We are currently working on addressing this through future updates, we can't given an exact date or what we will be addressed yet.
Thank you for your understanding!
Please keep a way for people to play at the current difficulty too. I don't find the game too difficult.
i'm sure they will. Similar games keep ramping up the difficulty each time you succeed. The reward (on Griftlands and Tainted Grail) is currency to buy permanent upgrades. Those upgrades start small and expensive but are an incentive to keep replaying.
This, of course, would take time and a big update. But it adds a HUGE replay value.
When you find a good build or your key to a gameplay, it will be easy.
For example.
I made my build only on Bloody Mary which has a damage dealer. In events I always chose (when I could) an attack bonus for her and in one round I could inflict 150-200 damage.
And diabolic mode is the ultimate get out of jail free card. Without it I imagine it would be 2x harder, but I still like the inclusion. I see it reducing early grind and retries.
Grimhorn if you have problems with grasping this puzzles yourself, just grab info on this forum, in guides or even watch YT.
