One request for the map is could we just have it completely wrap around instead of having a split in the mid Pacific? Playing anything in the pacific is tedious especially for Japan as some of the Russian ports northeast of Japan are almost impossible to see and holding territory throughout the Pacific is annoying.

Barrel erosion was more a factor of shell weight than it was muzzle velocity and this is a documented reason why the USN didn't move to heavier 6" and 8" shells during WW2 and also why their modern platforms combine relatively lighter shells with higher velocities.

With the topic of text issues I've had some battles that show up as the code name such "Meeting" or "Task Force" showing up as jumble of code. Not a major issue as it doesn't really affect game play but wanted to make a mention since you asked. The only 2 things I have a real desire to be fixed or worked on at the moment is the dealings with minor nations in general and then rebellions or states that for some reason rebel or get "liberated" a month or two after being conquered. I would like the player to have more say in the interactions with minor nations and also be able to fight them rather than just have to contend with RNG and have your minor nations actively support you in wars. The rebellions from what I've seen only start to get bad the further you go in the game in terms of time but especially in like 1930 you have a very high chance of having random rebellions pop up. They wouldn't be as much of a problem if you could actually defeat them, and maybe they are, but I have yet to be able to put down a rebellion even with having over triple the tonnage required in the combat zone. I also see the enemy having casualties of 5:1 or even as high as 7:1 and still winning which frankly makes no sense. Anyway I'm happy with the direction of the game and hope these issues are addressed in the near future so I can continue recommending this game to my friends and family to play and continue to enjoy playing myself.

This improvement realistically balances the gun accuracy and fixes the human player exploit to create ships with overpowered long barrel guns with extreme accuracy."

You guys do realise there was already multiple posts on the forums how increasing barrel length passed the 10% range makes deck penetration drop by roughly 80 to 90% for absolutely no reason, right? Even though it should instead be INCREASING it at the new increased range brackets according to historical statistics. This change without actually fixing the penetration issues really makes no sense. Like why introduce a new mechanic instead of fixing an issue that is already related to increased gun length.

Increasing gun length currently in the game is already GOD AWFUL because of this miss-understanding of historical gun penetration values, and now you just made it even worst.

Like there is no "exploit" here , it was already beyond awful to increase barrel length.

"Battle AI further improvement"

Uhh really hope so. Because right now im 20+ years into a campaign having lost about 9 ships to literally 500+ enemy sunk.

The AI cant even move without hitting each other BOOM CRASH BANG CRASH BOOM CRASH sound effect gets really annoying the 137th time this session.

Its all for nothing if the AI cant fight for ♥♥♥♥ or design a ship that isnt completely useless.

"Simulated gun barrel erosion" means what?
The gun will be going ineffective after ... 10 shots? Less accuracy, each shot -1%? And what does this mean. Is it repairable? Or have I build new ships after 10 shots?
I used this function everytime: more accuracy vs. faster shooting. And now? Never use this again?
All I want is a documentation, where I can read the pro's + con's to decide what is my way.

Does "Improved the auto-targeting mechanics" include eliminating the problem with turrets getting stuck in position? Because this is a very significant and debilitating bug that appears in every battle of my current campaign.

Thank you for constantly improving.Is losing all your torpedo tubes when one goes out a bug that is gonna get fixed?I dont know how getting hit in bow tubes has anything to do with stern or side tubes.

Well, I see that the turrets getting stuck bug has not been fixed. Unless I have to start a new campaign, though that seems unlikely.

Devs: instead of fiddling over arcana like barrel erosion, how about fixing bugs that significantly impact game play? I don't really give a **** about barrel erosion when my CA's front main turrets are stuck in 5 O'Clock starboard position and I'm trying to engage an enemy BB on my port side.

Query:

Oil in defeated nations matter.

Are we able to invade or win them after the nation collapses from blockade? Matters espically to a Japan playthrough targetting China oil

While they're at it, they should correct the map: it's spelled "Philippines" (not "Phillipines"). The Sea is spelled correctly on the map. The Country is not.
