I am waiting for the HMS Victoria (1887), the Italian Duilio Class (1880) with 450 mm guns! Ironclad era! And the US ones like the USS Maine (1889). But there are many more iroclad ships that I think would be very useful in early game. For example the Trafalgar class was in comission till 1910. So I see a lot of potential in ironclads.
It's just such a tease that they have ACW ships in the Academy, but then you can't play with them in the campaign.
that or other wodden ships as well.
Absolutely agree. River monitors are awesome.
I mean as current assets. There were plenty of ironclads around the world to make campaigns for but they'd need modelling first.
