Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts

Pitch and Roll Calculations Bugged.
Any way to disable the pitch and roll settings? I'm tired of the game freaking out about a boat being unbalanced when all I have on it is the hull, basic lightweight towers and a funnel dead center with no weapons or at all. And, all moving stuff around does is make it worse.

Put belt and deck armor on, or increase the ship's machinery weight by increasing top speed.

Having 'red' pitch and roll doesn't really make that much difference on small ships like DDs or TBs. Even bigger ships like CL / CA / BC are still going to shoot the wings off AI ships.

Yes , the main issue is all designs they suffer from bow too heavy .... with DDs is worst, if you set your DD balanced and then you place a 1.1 " gun at bow and a 5,9" at stern - you will be bow heavy !!!!! I wonder what grade these devs had on physics ?

OK, here's an early DD with 8% 'bow heavy' which is trivial.

Note that all of these DDs have very narrow beams for speed. They have no issues in gun battles with AI DDs, have balanced torpedo / gun / minesweeping / depth charge armament, decent range, and aren't excessively bow heavy. Note that they have heavier or equivalent guns forward, no '5.9 at the stern and 1.1 at the bow'.

Why don't you share a screenshot of your 'bow heavy' DD? Perhaps someone can give you advice on how to fix it.
As long as the conditions are in the light blue type, it won't affect the ship much in accuracy or ability. Try to keep it out of the red as it can really hurt a ship's gun accuracy when it's too far out of whack. It has no effect on torpedoes.

Yes, some hulls are improperly weighted at 'zero' conditions. These were supposed to be 'handicaps' to prevent players from making super ships out of certain hulls that could be abused in certain ways. It just makes those hulls almost impossible to utilize effectively without going seriously out of your way to make them weird.

Use the shift key whilst moving the front turret rearwards and you can probably reduce the weight imbalance close to zero. Might also help to put the torpedo launcher between the funnels.

Possibly... I refit ships constantly (DDs never get scrapped, in service until they sink), so also try to leave a little extra room for the next gun / torpedo launcher size upgrade. If you have to start moving the torpedoes or guns around the refit time goes up to about 4 months, and since a new DD is only 7 months might not be the best shipyard tonnage use.
