Thank you for all the support
Dear admirals and generals,

I want to express my personal gratitude to everyone who has supported Game-Labs and me personally all those years, from the moment I began to make my own games.

For all those games for which I have been the co-developer and lead designer,
“Ultimate General: Gettysburg” and its successful continuation “Ultimate General: Civil War” up to the latest and even more successful “Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts”, I will remember the great times we all collaborated with passion in the forums to improve them the best way possible.

Please note that from 31st December 2024 I will no longer be part of Game-Labs. “Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts” will receive the promised last patch before this time. You will definitely enjoy it even more after this big update!

Thank you again, and I hope I meet you soon in other game endeavours!

Nick Thomadis

Good luck with your future endeavors, sir. Been playing your projects since Gettysburg, and I appreciate your work and the innovative approaches you've brought to the gaming space! All the best and Happy Holidays.

Thank you for the game and Darth Mods for Empire, Napoleon, and Shogun 2. I think something you can possibly take away from this experience is, the Dry and Kiss Principle. You probably already know what those are but for those you don't I'll cover them.
Dry Stands for, Don't Repeat Your Self. And Kiss means, Keep It Simple, Silly. Any way Dry does make your code bigger but easier to understand and problem solve, and Kiss is self explanatory. But keep this in mind I am still really new to programming.

Thanks for this game. I can see all the dedication and love you've put in this project.
I wish you a merry christmas and all the best for the future.

Thank you, Nick, both for your hard work and for the resulting games...this one in particular. Here's wishing you all the best in your future endeavors. UA:D has been, and will continue to be, one of my favorite games of all time...at over 60 years old, that's saying a lot.

Been a fan of your work since Ultimate General: Gettysburg. I hope you're popping up somewhere new and interesting and not just riding off into the sunset.

Fair winds and following seas to you, but also to this game and its player community. UAD is a great game -- with still room for growing -- hope your departure will not seal its demise.

Dear Nick. Ever since the Darthmod I have been a fan of your work and you have proven yourself to be a very talented and innovative (strategy) game developer. I applaud you for that. I hope that you will get all the support in your future projects and I am certain that your hunger for making new interesting strategy games will never die. Hope to hear from your new endeavors again soon!

Thank you for all this time and for providing us with a fun game experience. I greatly enjoyed the concepts we had in UAD. Your work will continue to inspire me as a gamedev too.

Thanks for all the great games, I played all of them, a lot. UA:D is by far the most played game in my many years of PC gaming. Hope to see new projects from you coming up, if that will be possible for you.

THANK YOU! All the best for you, and any team members that might be affected as well.

..so, at the same time, will this be the end of support for UA:D? :-/
