The only problem is the campaign, which has often counter intuitive behaviour, lack many options and diversity
There are some bug, but none game breaking in my opinion.
I enjoy this game a lot
If they ever figure out how to multiplayer campaigns online that would be awesome.....timho the part that suffers the most is that the AI isnt a good opponent in the long campaign.
There is simply too much in this game that needs fixing, adjusting, improving. There's no way devs could complete even half of that by this summer. Let modders help!
Do you really trust other people's opinions when making your own choices?
The devs aren't receptive to feedback they blamed their shoddy shovelware's failure on the community being unreasonable, etc
Not worth the buy like most abandonware by this dev. Seems to be a constant theme with them now ever since they were acquired by a mobile phone game publisher.
The graphics are well done and improving for the battle scenes but maneuvering ships can be challenging and ships constantly run into each other. The AI ignores your targeting instructions and starts shooting at other targets and resists attempts to override the unwanted targeting.
Just read the discussion threads. I've stopped playing the campaign game and play the custom battles when I do play.
Yes I will trust others opinion who have spent hundreds of hours while I can't get my hands on it without buying it so yes I will based my buying decision on the opinions./ another who have played it
Hmm... It seems strange that you are asking other people's opinions on how you should spend YOUR money.
i own and very much enjoyed all the other games of the ultimate series.
i have 377 hours in this game and gave it a bad review and stand by it.
That said i got a solid 40-80 hours of fun out of this while designing ships. if you get this game for a price tag that is reasonable for that amount of hours and you like tinkering and enginnering than its imo worth it. you eventually drop the game after being frustrated by everything else in it but there is fun to be had until then.
Are you asking other people's opinions about chess or poker? What's the point of getting someone else's opinion about a game until you've tried it yourself?
I play the campaign, and the logic of the missions that the game gave me is quite understandable and definitely not random.
I find that the campaign is 'unplayable' and currently low quality; technically you can actually play the campaign but there are so many missing, badly designed or simply broken elements that it isn't enjoyable to play. Not to mention that the longer the game goes on, the slower it becomes.
I bought this game purely for the campaign and that has been a disappointment.
