Edit: Wow. it is annoying to have to copy/rename every design.
By 1895, tech progression had diverged so much that the AI wasn't using any of my shared designs, and if it was using them for inspiration, I couldn't tell. The rest of the campaign was the usual mismatch design of 3.4", 3.6", and 3.7" guns all on the same ship and 32 knot BC in 1911 that had no armor.
