How to invade
So far I've only ever been invading when I get those random in game events for a small country backing terrorists or something. But that hasn't happened in several years, and now I'm just sitting here. So, how do I increase the odds of being able to invade a country? And is there a way to make it more likely in a specific region or specific country?

Aside from going to war with a major power and doing naval invasions (which you can do by dropping your relations with them to zero and then influencing your government to do an invasion in an area where you have a significant fleet presence) all you can really do is keep your fleets near regions owned by neutral, unaligned countries and hope they decide to invade.

VS major powers (playable nations:)
1. be at war (get to -100 relations and dont brinbe them to stay at peace)
2. send min. 100.000t of ships tonnage to the area were you want to invade
3. in diplomatic screen, start a naval invasion for the province you want, you may need way more than 100.000t for a good sucsess chance depending on the province you want.
4. keep the ships/tonnage in the circle around the marked harbour of the province you choose until the turns are over and you know if it worked or not
5. try again or move on to the next province

VS minors (not playble nations)
1. works only against nations without an major ally
2. move ships into the area of that nation
3. hope and pray for a invasion mission, and accept it
4. send in time enough ships/tonnage to be sucsessfull
5. wait with the ships inside the marked aera until you know if it worked or not

Al this is true to some extent or other, , but so is this; consecutive successful invasions will progressively make your Land armies weaker...go figure...because tbh i don't really..

I am facing this in my current game... i can't get my army above 500,000 men, while my enemy has 2.6 million. In my game China has 26 million man army...

1. Logistics drop with provinces taken.
2. The longer a nation is at war, the bigger the army. If an AI is at war for ages it has an enormous amount of soldiers.

Of course as they use the same mechanics as the player, but otherwise i didnt care much as long theirs is lowers than mine, and if its now let say 75% me vs 4% them it doens matter much if they now have 6% or 2%...^^

Army gets bigger once you are at war with a major power. Takes some time as people need to be drafted
i am aware of the mechanics of conscription in game

been at war with at least 2 enemy empires (currently it is USA, China, Austria-Hungry) for 10 in game years... conscription is not fully working as advertised while at war. in 10 years of warfare, i have not gone above 483,000 soldiers in my army, and that is with 100% logistics and my transports are at 112%
