heard changing the taskforce to invade mode will help increase ur chance of invasion (i havnt tested yet.)
move ur taskforce closer to the port, next turn, countdown will start
As ports, they automatically expand according to your technology. You dont need to worry about them.
Points that might help.
-Transports do effect Logistics, sinking them you will see the enemy nation rating go down. A few escaped the convoy missions on me and that number went way up also. I am thinking the alliance powers logistics can influence the outcome too?
-Reduce Enemy naval forces in the area (effects naval power rating).
-Tonnage needed is roughly the total tonnage of the province. If there are two or more ports in that province you'll need to add them to the total tonnage you'll need to remain in the Invasion range.
Also, 100000 is needed to initiate the invasion. The naval forces needed to keep the landed ground troops supplied might be considerably higher. Basically, sent all you have available.
See to it that your army is 100% supplied BEFORE you choose to invade.
Invasion is only needed if you need a base in the area, for blockade purposes etc.
Otherwise, no need.
Ports. They enlarge automatically. I guess it is connected to your GDP growth, but i do not know the exact mechanics.
I agree with forcing an enemy to surrender up ports is a very good and relatively easy way to collect minor ports. Nations will not offer up major ports in a peace offering, which are key to the campaign imo.
E.g. AH will not offer Croatia (three major ports) if they sue for peace. This province needs to be taken by Naval Invasion. I spent two years (4 attempts) doing Naval Invasions of Croatia before I was able to finally claim it. Then the AI launched land battles to take the rest of AH.
Naval Invasions are key to taking larger ports and home provinces. Even if there is a land battle going on, the naval invasion of the same province helps I believe. I have seen the announcement "XYZ fell to being attacked from all sides" with joint land AI and Naval Invasions.
Politic > chosse faction at war > end turn > send ship to that point and end turn ?
Because i send 256.000 to 20.000 port and still fail
You do get something though, you get a new sea zone you have to protect convoys in 🤣
Victory points
What is Task force? my ship ?
