Financing problems
Even though my GDP is going UP, my monthly expenses keep dropping. WTF is going on here? Playing America and not building any new ships. It's not the losing money, but I see no reason why my alloted money is going down, yet the GDP is going up. I fully take into account the events, but even when I increase my GDP, the money continues to drop. Can someone tell me where my money is going or where I find out?

Update. Suddenly It went from -865,489 to +39,672,310. Does this feature mean ANYTHING yet?

I suppose you are talking about your dropping budget? Your expenses listed as Naval budget expenses in the finance tab usually add up, at least the player can add it up himself since all the expenses are listed underneath.

The thing that you can't control is the GDP growth that might shrink e.g. in case of wars taking place, but as you said u don t seem to have a prob with that.

Maybe you re moving a lot around with your ships so that you spend a lot on fuel?

I am talking about the GROSS Naval Income dropping. I kept having to reduce the training and research, etc.

I my current Japan campaign my GDP (and my naval budget) increases monthly by hundreds of millions, despite I have a negative GDP growth percentage (-4-ish) I also noticed un-reproduce-able, extreme fluctuations (50-60 million differences in my budget) without any clue.

I'm pretty sure, this is some game mechanic, that has no popup/notice in the logs, because this happens a bit too systematically to be a bug (or a systematic bug, hehe) - but I haven't really found anything related to this in the changelogs... :/

There are some "Misc" expenses that can play havoc with your income.

The 2 big ones are "Ammo" and "Fuel". IF you move your ships, even to another port, they use fuel, which must be paid in the month after moving. The Same goes for Ammo after a battle.
Depending on the ships you move, and how many, your fuel costs can be anywhere from a couple hundred grand, to a couple hundred MILLION!!!
Same with Ammo, get into a big fight with 80 ships? Expect to pay out several million for new shells to throw in the next battle.

IF its jumping around a lot, chances are, it's Fuel costs.

I have the same problem my reserves jumped from +13,000,000 to -30,000;000 in one turn, it seems that after a time the game makes sure you can not win

Same here. Conquered lots of new territories as Italy. I noticed that this causes a steep increase in the demand for convoys (makes sense), but even after the convoy % reached 100 I was still bleeding cash like no tomorrow.

All the sliders down to 15% and all my ships in fleet in being and still going bankrupt.
The fact that I have 15 BBs might have something to do with it though.

Update: I am making 10 Million Less, than I was a few months ago. I am still pulling thr same percentage and the GDP is going up. I made sure no port was overloaded and ALL my ships are in port. Still losing money. They need a way to communicate what's happenning.
