No need.
I have around 1400 h gameplay in NA, so I know exactly what are the issues with NA. Your mistake is the fact you are comparing a single player game with a multiplayer game. You should be comparing with the other single player games made by Game labs to have a fair comparison.
So go check the reviews on this games:
Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail
Ultimate General: Gettysburg
Ultimate General: Civil War
This land is my land.
After, return here and share with us what you have found.
AoS I didn't really like and Gettysburg I never bought.
But Civil War I love and is a great game, I have over 2000 hrs in it
EDIT: 2048 hrs to be precise
I enjoyed the naval battles in AoS and the land battles from the CW. Both great games in different ways. The good about this games was IMO, the experience the devs gained for the next launch in the series. Which will combine both the land and naval combat in a grand campaign in real time.

I can't wait for this one.
Plz browse this forum for a couple of minutes and you will.
Yes I know about this game from a while back and I will probably buy it when it comes out. Not to sure I will like the more complex supply side of things though. I liked the system in UG:CW where all you had to worry about was your supply wagons lol.
I do hope in the future they will make something like the rise and fall of Napoleon starting with the revolution and ending with Waterloo because I know a lot of people who are into that kind of timeline in history
+1
I don't know why anyone would say they cannot find anything wrong with this game at the moment
And for me the game is not finished and there is a lot of problems that require adjustment.
I have played a lot of games that were completely broken at launch and were sell as finished products.
Let some time to the dev to complete the product.
(sorry for my english it's not my native language and i never use google translator))
My largest complaint right now is the smaller caliber guns not always firing like they should be. If that was fixed and the devs walked away right now, I could probably play for another 200+ hours to what I have. The fact that the next update brings the entire world would seal the deal for me, but that medium caliber gun issue better be fixed.
UGCW, very good game, spend hundreds of hours. Very recommend using JP Rebalance mod. I stop playing it only because new game GTCW.
AOS, normal. Ship control is okey. But land control system is so bad. That control system in UGCW is okey because its unit size is brigade(2~3k people). But AOS is company size (100~300 people), so i have to compare it with total war game. And its bad.
This land is my land, never play it, no interest.
UG1775, just forget it, that web page come out at 2017 before AOS, they should already dump it. And seriously, even in that page I can already spot many red flags. How can you fight a division size battle (at least 10k vs 10k) when you are controlling the company size unit. It's like control more than 60 units plus supply wagons.
I also played NA and I have to said gamelabs is only good at making single player game.
They are really sucks at balancing but they keep try to 'balancing', but its more like 'breaking' than 'balancing'.
Not only PVP player is suffering, even PVE server is suffering because they buff AI in PVE server to hell.
Now UAD, well, I only want it to become a 3d version of RTW2 without aircraft carrier. And UAD still have a long way to go. And its already 40 days since their last small update.

Innovative command system
You decide the level of army control. Command every unit individually or just give them a goal with a single click and watch if they can take that hill. Draw a defensive line and the allocated brigades will defend it like lions. Design a deep flanking maneuver by just drawing an arrow and send the whole army to the enemy flank or rear. Army division commanders can also make decisions on their own to help you control a large army. Your generals will try to fulfill your orders, although "no plan survives contact with the enemy."
There is finally a good AI in the pve server? I need to see that.
What Alphoris wanted to say and draw our attention is the fact the developing company has a history of dropping games mid-development and never finishing them
Same with me.
The interesting part for me at least. I never wanted to play the open world multiplayer game, but the realistic gameplay with sail ships from 17 and 18 century was too much for me to ignore. Sadly I didn't had the chance to play the sea trials, I arrive at a later stage but still I enjoyed for a good time until three years ago. Also I never had the chance to fight the battle with storms

A few years later it seems I was going to get everything I ever wanted from Naval action, but the project was cancelled. ♥♥♥♥....

A world of warships with sail ships. My dream game for a multiplayer experience. Cancelled. Damn
