Bow bug

I think I have a bug. I try to use the bow with the iron arrows (I already checked and the arrow type it compatible with the bow). I have 11 arrows on me, I shoot one, and then I can't ready another arrow. The bow is still animated like he's readying and arrow, but without having any arrow, I can't aim, I can't shoot. I even tried pressing "R" to see if that would somehow fix it but no, nothing seems to work. and I keep getting killed cause I can only fire one arrow while they never miss me while shooting with their guns while ridding their horses.
Did something similar happen to someone?

I tried again, not only was I not able to fire another arow, but I also couldn't press 1 to select my revolver. I managed to fix the problem by getting off my horse and running around to force my character to put his bow back on his back. After that I was able to fire as many arrows as I wanted without problem.

The bow had beed stored on my pet horse for a while before I used it. Idk if that could've caused a problem.

In my experience, the quickest way you can fix the issue in the short term is by crouching (default 'C'). Might need to just tap 'c' 2 or three times. Its a good reason for hunting from horseback, so you can create distance between you and predators then dismount and crouch to 'reset' your bow.

I've had some bow glitches like that in the past, but very rarely so I don't know what triggers them.

So far, it only seems to trigger when I try to sneak on my horse, and then try to shoot from my bow. I think that's what's been causing me issues so far. but there might also be other triggers that I'm not aware of
