Repetitive?
I've only got a couple hours in game but it already seems very repetitive, to the point I feel like i must be doing something wrong. Is the whole game really just sneaking into an enemy outpost, luring enemies out one by one to stealth grab them, interrogate, stun, and intimidate? From my understanding you get punished for a more aggressive approach because of the karma system. Kind of feels unrewarding to unlock new tech when you can't use it. Am I missing something?

I haven't played for ages. Sad to say it is rather boring.

I turn Reputation off, then snipe, stab and headshot whoever I like. Makes for a more exciting game for me. I like a bit of stealth every now and again though. :)

For me eliminating every camp is different because of changing layout and terrain and the little random things that happen as I infiltrate, and every encounter on the road is different as well. Every new start creates a different layout of camps on the landscape, as well. I can't see it as ever being "repetitive" unless you just don't like the core gameplay at all.

I'm like you. I like the challenge of infiltration, grabbing the person I need to interrogate and dragging them off unseen. I like the challenge of full-on attack, and once took on a Fort that had 25 inhabitants, with 4 more riding as I was looting. I like the fun of using Meat Bait in camps to cause panic and slaughter by bears, wolves and or foxes. I love sniping a camp until nobody is left alive. That's apart from conquering the map! The game is so absorbing to me that time just vanishes, and a quick hour suddenly becomes four or five hours without me realising! :)

For me at the early stage, you may have to repeat the same style but as you unlock new skills, build additional settlements, you have so many options to diversify your adventure in-game.

Ive played some Assassins creed in past and just last week Mad Max and those games very very repetetive. This atleast has some strategy and building gameplay under it.

How do you turn off reputation?

Start a new resistance with "custom" difficuty. While setting up the difficulty options, one of them is reputation.
