I was just thinking my game had gone a bit quiet. :) There were camps and small logging outposts but I've cleared those out in 4 of the areas I have moved into. There's one Cattle Ranch that's too tough at the moment as it has 12 or 13 people in it, and if I send out a war party the AI is going to get them all killed. :D Looks like me, my Stun Arrows, Tomahawk, Lance and a well-aimed rock to their heads at some point.

What stage of the game are you at?

I have 455 hours of play, start, middle, end, still as many enemies lol AI of warriors is null,
I have tried everything !

seems historically correct.

I don't think the native Americans had any chance of stopping the onslaught. Though as far as the game, I've been told on Discord it is *possible* to reclaim all your land and eliminate them.

I'm pretty sure that If you wait too long or have a really bad reputation (lots of killing), you will see a lot of enemies.

not really I have to kill 1 time in 100 or more, I know why, the fast travel, I don't use them anymore

but now my warriors get killed by bears lol

A couple of Fast Travels gives the NPCs around a day to do what they like, because you are in transit. Fast Travel is awful. I'd rather use the horse to auto-travel. :D

Fast Travel, dying and letting the train go unchecked. Thats how you get overwhelmed.

every time you die, enemies take more territory and become stronger.

Tachyon is right about fast travel and NPC getting a few days (depending on distance) to accelerate more then when you play in real time.

I've been able to reduce them down to a few percent (4%) with me at 40.

Some tips:
Claim land by placing camps in every empty territory. Target Prison wagons (if you find/have keys) and hit them a little bit.

they always send prison wagons from forts to prison camps. You get an average of 6 warriors when attacking train wagons. Sometimes there are 2 or more wagons in the region.

Attack their supply lines: target farms, distilleries, post wagons and resource parties (wood/iron) before hitting hard target (like forts).

Level up leadership perk as quickly as you can as well as stun skills.

Scout skill helps a lot as well

Detection skill or pre-scout your attack locations really helps.

Never attack during the day, go for night stalking.

You can also set up very effective ambushes with your war party if you understand how the AI logic processing works. (mirror stance when traveling, selective placement when ambushing or attacking w/ fire back and crouch stance before attack then open fire when you start.)

Set up 10+ camps with high level warriors along the train to attack the settlers coming in.

In short go for a war of attrition while focusing on increasing your amount of warriors and camps.

A great strategy I've recently mastered is timing incoming attacking parties with my war party so i hit locations from two sides.

Right amount of speed and caution are key in all tips listed.

Hey, those are great tips. How do you get your warriors leveled up? I know groceries in the inventory will do it, but I can't find any wagons... been looking a long time.. visited farms, but there is very little there... Can I level them any other way or do I just keep looking for a wagon?
