Okay so i got the game.......

How do i gift my warriors weapons, also will their be crafting stations later? and how do i build more things on to my camp?

when do enemies take over camps?

i would love some tools to chop down trees etc, i see a lumber camp, can i utilise that?

Thanks for getting the game and supporting the project as well. But as I answered to you before, this game is very different from HEAT or similar games and I feel like you are seeing it that way judging from your questions. So, the first thing you have to do is understand that they are two very different games and you must see them that way.

Now on to your questions:

1. You can leave weapons in your camp stash and they will take the best quality weapons that have ammo available for them.
2. You can give them specific weapons when you send them out on tasks such as hunting or attacking
3. There are no crafting stations. Crafting is done via the tab as long as you have the resources for it. Also, weapons will need blueprints.
4. You will be able to upgrade your camps with specific resources. There are no building per se.
5. The enemy patrols will attack your camps and if they kill everyone, the camp will no longer be there and the enemy will expand to it. It happens by itself as the enemy expands in the territory. It happens more when you progress furthermore.
6. There is no wood chopping. You will be able to gather wood from the ground. Same with stone. Lumber camps are for a different purpose which the AI utilizes to expand. This feature is going to be expanded and it will also make more sense in the future. There are more AI being sent from the outer world and those things come into play. A bit tough to explain as a beginner but as you learn the game more, it will make more sense.

My recommendation, play the game and explore the interface and just experience the world. Watch tutorial videos. We recommend this channel here:

thanks, i think i've gotten used to the mechanics, although the enemy cowboys ain't taking outposts back, do they respawn and stuff?

There is no respawn in this game. Nor spawn. Enemies reinforcements are sent from outer lands as cities grow. It is also territory expansion and they choose where they expand to. It is not specifically taking a certain outpost. It happens as the game progresses and the game will also adapt to how you play.
